PostHeaderIcon Tebow Looking to Play QB in the NFL

What follows is an article regarding Tebow and his career. You can take this time in between writing emails or playing free poker or whatever it is you are doing online to read all about it. We hope you find it interesting and informative.

As Tim Tebow exited his outstanding college career for the NFL, he faced all kinds of scrutiny at the press conference in Mobile, Alabama on Sunday. Many criticisms included his lack of experience under center, his ball placement, mechanics, his release, and his footwork.

Tebow is not worried about the critics one bit as he attempts to make the huge transition to play with the ”big boys”. The only thing the Heisman and National Championship winning quarterback is worried about is proving to the NFL scouts that he can play as a quarterback in the NFL. Most importantly, doing it well.

Tebow has recently received some support from Urban Meyer. Coach Meyer told Tebow, “Promise me one thing: Just be you and you’ll be fine.” Tebow looks forward to following Meyer’s advice to a ‘t’ once the NFL scouts show up. Tebow told the media Sunday in Mobile, “I’m just going to be me. I’m going to be excited, I’m going to be passionate, I’m going to have fun.”

His first real test to prove to the NFL scouts and the whole world of football that he is the NFL QB type will come this Saturday at the Senior Bowl. Tebow told the media Sunday that, “I’m here to be an NFL quarterback.” Although Tebow may not have the exact NFL style passing technique, he will be sure to show his leadership skills to the scouts. Tebow is also there to show that he is willing to work hard and display his showcase of abilities and attributes.

Tim Tebow is arguably the best college football player to ever play the game. Most NFL scouts think he is not fit for the NFL as a quarterback. Therefore, Tebow is most likely to be drafted in the 3rd or 4th round when it comes time for the teams to select their picks. Whether the Florida standout is selected in the 1st round or the 5th round, look for Tim Tebow to be a standout quarterback for one lucky NFL team.
