PostHeaderIcon Tebow’s first snap as a Bronco

As Sunday, August 15th rolled around, everyone was thinking the same thing. Who will start as Denver’s quarterback? I turned out to be Kyle Orton who accounted for two touchdowns. Then, Brady Quinn came into the game and scored no touch downs, but had six completions. After Quinn came in, chatter started. Will Tim Tebow start? When third quarter rolled around, it was time for Tim to step out on the field.

Tim’s very first pass was complete to TE Marquez Branson. Tim was consistent when it came to passing. It then came down to the last 3 seconds of the game, Broncos 17 and Bengals 33. Tim looked to find an open receiver and found no one to be open. A perfect path was waiting for him to run through. Tim then ran through the open hole and plowed through two linemen. With no time remaining on the clock, Tim made his first TD as a Bronco.

During that play, Tim had bruised his ribs. He has missed a few practices last week and has missed last night’s pre-season game against Detroit. Let’s hope Tebow puts some ice on his ribs and gets back on to the practice field.
