Can Tebow End With A Ring?

Posted on: July 7, 2009 by: Brandon

It has been three fun years watching Florida quarterback Tim Tebow play and now with his final year at the University Of Florida coming up, people are wondering if he has enough to carry the Gators on top for another championship.

If Tebow stays unstoppable like he has been in the passed, then Florida should be able to look forward to another BCS National championship. Tim is HUGE!. He makes Brandon Spikes look small… well.. I did exaggerate just a little but Tebow does have the size to play in Spikes spot. They are practically twins. Both are 6-3 but Spikes is 5 pounds more at 245. Tebow was hit 232 times last season. With his toughness, there is no doubt in my mind they will repeat.

In 2008, Tebow completed 163 of 252 passes for 2,640 yards, 26 TDs and just four interceptions. How can you do any better than that? He is just amazing. I’m hoping he can put those kind of numbers up again in 2009. He is like a linebacker with a cannon as an arm. I don’t think there is one NFL quarterback that can be compared to Tim Tebow.

Something you really don’t seem often is Tebow running over a safety or linebacker, and then next play complete a 20 yard pass. What NFL scouts are curious about is what is his only one strength. The thing is, Tebow can do everything. As long as he can put up numbers this year, continue to plow over his opponents and complete his passes, then Florida will repeat in 2009. The Tim Tebow legend will hopefully end this year with a happy Gator Nation.
