Dear Tim Tebow,

You are a great person on and off the field. I heard that Coach Meyer is great to be coached by. I think that you are my favorite QB in college football. I hope to see you in the NFL next year.

Now let me tell you about me. My name is Jakob O’Hara. I live in Gilbert, AZ. I’m 10 years old, I’m 4 feet 9 inches and weigh 90 lbs. I’m a football player like you but now I play for a travel baseball team, but I hope to resume my football career in a couple of years. I hope you can write back.

I am a junior attending a Southern California High School and I just want to say
that you have become my biggest inspiration. I am a nationally ranked tennis
player, have a 4.5 GPA, and do an immense amount of charity work. When I am up at
2:00 in the morning studying for an AP Calculus test the next day, I remember that
if Tim Tebow can do everything that he does then so can I. You have encouraged me
to fulfill my potential as a student, athlete, and morally good person. Anyways I
just wanted to say your Christian ethics and love for your family, friends,
academics, and football have made me want to follow my passions and dreams.

Next year I plan on attending the United States Military Academy to play on the
women’s tennis team and I just want to thank you for being the best role model I
could have ever asked for these past four years. I pray for the best to your future
and God Bless! Go Gators!!!

Dear Tim,

I graduated from the University of Florida this past May and attended every game in the Swamp and was lucky to get to last year’s SEC championship and the BCS game in Miami and I always loved watching you play. I moved out to Colorado this past September but still watched every game I could find on tv. I know that the SEC game tonight did not turn out the way you hoped, but I wanted to remind you that everyone in the Gator Nation still loves you very much. And a long time from now, I’ll remember getting to watch you play. But more than the number of passes you completed or yards you rushed, I will remember your obvious love and passion for the game and your teammates and the way you inspired a school and a nation. You have spread the love and word of God to so many who would not have heard about Him without you. Congratulations on a wonderful and memorable college football career Tim, I can’t wait til the day when I can tell my children about seeing Tim Tebow play in the Swamp.

I would just like to say thank you. Thank you so much. You are my role model and I look up to you. I am 15 years old and you helped me through my life. I was a huge gator fan before but when you came, it was all a different story. I wouldn’t miss a game for my life. You inspired me to keep my head high and move on in life. You changed my life. You inspired me with the way you where your black eyes and how all you wanted is to see smiles on peoples faces. Well I sure get a smile on my face when i see you. I would like to thank you for all your hard work and your good deeds that you have done. And one day i want to be just like you. It’s been an absolute pleasure to watch you play and every year got better and better. To me, it’s not only what you do on the field that I admire but also what you do outside of school.
